The ticket cost 150 AED for children and 300 AED for adults, including two drinks and some food. Children under 5 years old are free to enter.

The gates open at 4 pm and you should book the tickets in advance.

Another option is to book a table in one of the restaurants located near the Burj Khalifa. For Example Joe’s Cafe, and restaurants in the Palace Downtown Hotel, like Ewaans, Thiptara, or Souk Al Bahar, for example, Abd El Wahab.

Atlantis Hotel

Atlantis Hotel at the Palm is another great location to witness the NYE fireworks in Dubai. This one is for those with a higher budget. Gala dinner with champagne and unlimited alcoholic drinks, a high-class buffet, entertainment, and a concert of the amazing Sting.

For a more relaxing experience bring your blanket, snack, and drinks and enjoy the fireworks and welcome the New Year next to the sea on the beach.

Bluewaters Island

Bluewaters Island is known for the largest observation wheel, Ain Dubai. Even though this is not in use at the moment, the view of the fireworks at JBR Beach and Atlantis is spectacular.

NYE Dubai: Things to know before you go

Before you decide to spend your NYE in Dubai and watch one of the fireworks, you should know a few things.

• To watch the fireworks at Burj Khalifa, you have to come early as the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station will close when there are a lot of people, anytime between 2 pm and 10 pm.
• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard will be closed from around 6 pm. The roads will open again around 1-2 am the 1st of January.
• If you want to reserve a table in the restaurant or any other event, do it well in advance.
• If you have a reservation in any of the restaurants around Burj Khalifa, come early before the road closes and car parks are full, in case you are coming by car.
• It will be possible to use taxis and Uber until the roads are closed.
• Metro’s operating hours will be extended.
• If you are going to celebrate on the Palm, you can either come by car, a taxi, or use Monorail which will run until 3 am on the 1st of January.
• At this time of the year, the weather is a little bit cooler at night, so take a light jumper or jacket.
• Most of the hotels, restaurants, and clubs have a dress code that you should follow. Check this before you go.
• Don’t drink and drive.
