About me

How did I start to travel and where I have been?

When I was 18 years old, I sat on my first flight ever and flew to the UK to work and study. I stayed there for one year and during my university studies came back each summer to work in different parts of the UK.

One year I and my friend decided to go to the USA instead. We chose Florida-Fort Walton Beach and Destin. We worked in Big Kahuna’s Waterpark. It was a great experience and for the first time in my life, I saw such soft white sand at the beach, that from the car it looked like snow. On our flight there we had a one-day stop in New York, so we saw a little bit of the city too.

Killington, Vermont, snowboarding

I visited the USA one more time, during winter, in Mount Snow Vermont, where I worked as a snowboard instructor for a few months. Then I went to Florida for a holiday. I visited Orlando, Disney World, Universal Studio, and Sea World. I felt like a child again.

Once I finished University and found a job, I wanted to go on holiday. My first holiday was in Tunisia, where I went several times. From there my roads lead me to Dubai, UAE, where I totally loved it because there was no winter, just summer. So I visited Dubai several times and tried to search for a job there. I didn’t find a job but found my husband there and we moved back to Europe. From Dubai, I went to Oman Muscat, which is just a half an hour flight.

While visiting Dubai so many times, I went to Turkey-Istanbul, Thailand, Phuket, and Bangkok. Then Seychelles and Maldives, which are paradises on earth, and I highly recommend them for your wedding or honeymoon.

I always wanted to go to Africa, so my next place was Kenya. We went on safaris, saw the wildlife, visited Masai village, and saw real life in Africa. And here I fall in love with Africa. My next trip was to Zanzibar.

As I was always attracted to Africa, my dream was to work as a volunteer with children in Africa. I persuaded my husband to go with me and we went to Zambia. It was the best experience of our lives. At the end of our program, we stayed for some time to explore Zambia and Zimbabwe.

From North Africa, I went to Egypt-Hurghada and Cairo.

From Europe, I visited Italy-Rome, Milan and Venice, Spain-Barcelona, Germany-Munich and Dresden, Hungary-Budapest, Scotland-Edinburgh, France-Paris and French riviera, Lithuania-Vilnius.

After visiting 21 countries on 4 continents, I found out that traveling is an addiction. It is something that satisfies me on all levels of my being. Traveling helped me grow, develop and experience. I’m very grateful for this gift.
