I visited Dubai at different times of the year and can tell you that if you choose October, you will not do wrong.
If you are looking for fewer crowds, great weather, cultural activities, and not to spend a fortune, October is the best month to visit.
Is It A Good Time To Visit Dubai In October?
The summer heat is over, temperatures are getting lower, you can do many activities outside and Dubai is becoming alive again.
Prices of the hotels starting to rise before the peak season, however, they are not at the highest yet.
With several sports and cultural events as well as concerts, October is one of the best months to visit this extravagant and opulent city.
Dubai In October: Weather
The weather in Dubai in October is still hot, but pleasantly hot. Humidity is low, expect average daily temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius/95 degrees Fahrenheit and night temperatures of 23 degrees Celsius/73.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
The first half of the month’s temperature can rise to 38 degrees Celsius/100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, while the second half can drop to 31 degrees Celsius/87.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
Therefore if you don’t like too hot, choose the second half of the month.
With these temperatures, you can enjoy your time at the beach with the warm sea being about 30 degrees Celsius/86 degrees Fahrenheit.
At this time there should not be any rainfalls, however with this climate one never knows.

Dubai In October: Best Things To Do & See
You can do and see many things in Dubai in October. Whether inside or outside, there is always plenty to do. I tried to pick up activities suitable for everyone.
1. Enjoy the view from Sky Views Dubai
Sky Views Dubai is a popular observatory located downtown near the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.

At the height of 219.5 meters, you will walk on a glass floor, slide on a glass slide and those more adventurers can try the edge walk.
With the edge walk, you will walk on the outside of the skyscraper without any barrier. Don’t worry, you will be secured with a rope.
2. Go around the world in Global Village
Global Village is a seasonal attraction and is reopened usually in the middle of October until April.

By visiting Global Village, you will travel around the world in one day. How is it possible?
In Global Village, each pavilion represents certain country. In the pavilions, they have markets where you can buy souvenirs from the country that the pavilion represents.
Not only that. You will also try traditional food from countries all over the world. And if it is not enough, watch a cultural show of a certain country.
For fun and adrenaline, enjoy different kinds of rides. Book your tickets with an optional transfer here.
3. Visit Dubai Miracle Garden
Dubai Miracle Garden is the largest outside garden in the world. As Dubai gets very hot in the summer, this as well is a seasonal activity starting in October until April.

About 150 million different flowers are used every year to build replicas of towers, kids’ cartoons, and other objects.
You will find there a clock, a floating lady, an Emirates Airbus A380, and many more. The theme changes every year. Once it was Disney’s Micky and Minnie Mouse, other year Smurfs.
4. Celebrate Octoberfest
You wouldn’t guess you can celebrate the famous German beer festival in Dubai, right? Surprise!
You will be able to celebrate it in several hotels and bars. Be ready for a lot of beer and sausages.
5. Enjoy your day at the beach club
As the weather is more pleasant during the days in October, it is a great time to relax in one of the beach clubs that Dubai has to offer.
There are many to choose from, some of the best ones are Nikki Beach located on Pearl Jumeirah, Bla Bla in JBR, White Beach in the Atlantis, Nobu by the Beach in Atlantis the Royal, and Drift Beach in One &Only Royale Mirage in Dubai Marina.
6. Watch the sunrise above sandy dunes
If you wish to experience sunrise above sandy dunes, a hot air balloon is an activity you can’t miss.

You will have to wake up early but the view and overall experience are worth it.
You will be welcomed with tea and coffee and after the flight, you will enjoy breakfast in the Beduin camp.
In addition, you can do a short camel ride in the desert and take pictures with a falcon.
➡️Book the Hot Air Baloon experience in advance here.
7. Party hard on Halloween night
We can’t forget about the Halloween in October. For those who celebrate it, be ready to get scared. Halloween in Dubai is scary.

All nightclubs in Dubai are preparing for Halloween night. If you wish to party in one of the nightclubs, be sure to prepare an extraordinary costume and leave fear at home.
You can find many Halloween treats for the little ones and some places prepare celebrations for families.
8. Go to the top of Burj Khalifa
The tallest building in the world is only one and it is in Dubai. Therefore it is an activity you must do when visiting Dubai for the first time.

Going to the top of Burj Khalifa is one thing you can do anytime throughout the year. There are three different options. Make sure to book the tickets in advance for all of them.
➡️Burj Khalifa entry ticket
➡️Burj Khalifa Sky
➡️Burj Khalifa lounge
9. Participate in the Fitness Challenge
Fitness Challenge is an initiative from the city to encourage people to take 30 minutes of physical movement a day for 30 days.
It starts end of October every year. You can participate in cycling, marathon, yoga, gym, and much more.
10. Enjoy a show in the Opera House
Do you fancy a cultural evening? There is no better place than the Opera House in Dubai.
There are many concerts, musicals, and other performances planned from which you can choose.
11. Have fun in the theme parks
There are so many theme parks in Dubai, and it isn’t easy to choose one. There are indoor or outdoor parks for little ones or older children and adults.
Some are IMG World of Adventure, Legoland, Motiongate, and Real Madrid World. This ticket will get you entrance to two parks of your choice in one day.
12. Spend a day on a beach
After all that sightseeing, partying, and adrenaline, there is time to relax. And what better relax than tanning on the beach and swimming in the sea?
There are many free public beaches in Dubai. Choose one that is closest to your accommodation.
13. Enjoy a day in the nature
If you have enough of the hustle and bustle of the city and you would like to spend a day in the nature, here is my tip.

About 1.5 hour drive from the city, is a place called Hatta. There are mountains, a park, a bee center, a lake, and a dam.
A company called Hatta Kayak rents kayaks, water bikes, and different boats, so you can sail on the dam and admire the mountains.
