Quick Answers:

  • 🚫 Strollers aren’t allowed at the top, but there’s a luggage room.

Are Kids Allowed In Burj Khalifa?

Except for being the tallest tower in the world, Burj Khalifa holds more records. It is also a tower with the highest outdoor observation deck in the world, an elevator with the longest travel distance, the tallest service elevator in the world, and more.

The elevator’s speed is 10 meters per second, and you will get to the 124th floor, where the outdoor observation deck is, in 60 seconds. From there, you can see a 360-degree panorama view of Dubai.

The Burj Khalifa stands tall in the center of the image, surrounded by low-rise buildings with traditional Middle Eastern architecture, all under a bright blue sky.

There are a few floors of the Burj Khalifa that are open to the public, and children of all ages are allowed to enter. The most popular is the At the Top Burj Khalifa, where the outdoor observation deck is located. It is on the 124th floor, and it is not the highest point of the tower.

Together with the 124th floor, you get to go to the 125th floor, which is located at 456 meters, and you can take a special photo with a green screen as a souvenir from your visit.

You can also add to your At the Top, Burj Khalifa Sky. Burj Khalifa Sky is located on the 148th floor, which is 555 meters high. Here you can enjoy a guided tour by a Guest Ambassador and have a drink at the Sky Lounge.

The Burj Khalifa lit up at night with a colorful light show featuring the word “MUSIC” inside a red heart, along with bright patterns and images across the tower’s surface.

Would you like to go even higher? Then there is a VIP ticket to enter the highest point for the public, which is The Lounge. Floors 154, 153, and 152 at 585 meters offer an exclusive tour of the outdoor terrace, teas, coffees, or champagne.

You can also go for the Burj Club Brunch happening every Saturday and enjoy the rooftop pool. Children up to 6 years old dine for free.

Can You Bring a Stroller to the Burj Khalifa?

No, strollers are not allowed to be taken to the top of the Burj Khalifa. There wouldn’t be enough space for all the guests. Also, shopping bags and any luggage are not allowed to be taken to the top.

However, don’t worry. When you have a stroller with you or you have just finished your big shopping, you can store them all in the luggage room next to the entrance. You will pick it up once you finish.

Tips when you visit Burj Khalifa with children

    • The average time of visit takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. There is no exact time specified for your stay. However, you need to count on some time for queuing as well. Therefore, take some small toys for your kids to entertain them.
    • The sunset time is busier, so book your time about 90 minutes prior
    • Book your tickets online
    • No food or drinks are permitted to be taken to the top
    • There is a photo kiosk where you can take memorable pictures, and they can also be printed on chosen merchandise
    • In case your child gets lost, contact the Guest Ambassador. Also, advise your children before you enter, to do the same in case they get lost
    • As strollers are not allowed to take up, and you are having a small baby, be prepared with a baby carrier, so you don’t have to hold your baby all this time. It may be pretty tiring. And you want to enjoy it, right?

Here you have it. Children are allowed to go to the Top of Burj Khalifa, and children under 4 years old can enter for free. Therefore, when you visit Dubai with your children, you should not miss this top attraction.
