6. Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon is a beautiful beach in the middle of nowhere, about 15 km from Dahab. The only way to get there is by tour or boat. 

The water here is turquoise blue ideal for snorkeling. Not only snorkeling and swimming but also surfing and kitesurfing can be enjoyed here.

Except for beach huts, where you can buy some drinks and snacks, or some of them are available for rent, if you want to stay overnight, there is nothing else. Therefore it is a great place to unplug.

Where to stay near Mahmya Island

You can stay in any resort in Hurghada, and there are plenty of choices. I do recommend Pickalbatros White Beach as I personally stayed there. It is an all-inclusive resort with two pools for swimming, more small pools with slides and other activities for children, a beautiful beach with a gradual entrance to the sea, great food, and lovely staff.

8. Nuweiba

Nuweiba is a small coastal city between Taba and Dahab, next to the Gulf of Aqaba. Beaches between Nuweiba and Taba are the ones you want to visit.

Nuweiba town is nothing like Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh. The beaches are not busy, there are no big resorts or nightlife.

Instead, you will find a simple life with small camps here, with food being served on small tables while you sit on cushions. There are a few huts on the beach and Beduin village.

This is a place for those who want to run away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and relax in nature.

Ras Um Sid Beach is located in Sharm El Sheikh, not far away from Naama Bay Beach. It is a lovely golden sand beach with beautiful blue water.

As I already mentioned, Sharm El Luli Beach is in the middle of nowhere, so you have to stay in Marsa Alam. Here you can choose from different kinds of resorts.
